Ryanair
Not that I am going to bore you with Ryanair complaints but lets just say this is just a warning. If you are ever paying for baggage on a Ryanair flight let it be known that no matter how many bags you pay for you still only have a 15k limit of weight. So for example if you have pre paid for two bags on the internet when booking that means that they must be on average 7.5k each. In other words you might as well get a bigger bag rather than pay for 2. But make sure you don't go over as it is 10 euros a kilo. Anwyay I was not the victim but I knew someone who despite paying for two bags already was hit for another 80 euros.
In response to the Tuam post down below I just wanted to clear one thing up. Though I appreciate the feedback I must make it clear that the program was not about Tuam but was about the Travelling community that live in Tuam. I am glad you enjoyed the DVD.

hey des you have been quoted as saying that only two from joy in the hood are still doing comedy, i thought more had taken it up so i am rather surprised, what two kept it up and are you dissapointed that more didnt keep the comedy up. this is not a trick question but all the trainees i saw seemed to be enjoying themselves so i am wondering why they didnt keep it up, the reason i would like to knoe the two who kept it up is just to see how far they have gone now and what regreats if any they might have , or what adives they might have for anyone else just starting out in the stand up bussiness
Hey the two that kept it up are Eric Lalor and Willa White ( Ballymun Eposode ), and they have both come on in leaps and bounds over the past 15 months or so. They have a comedy club in Ballymun once a month, they have also both played at the electric picnic and have played the Kilkenny Cats festival. They are regulars in the international and the laughter lounge. They both have also supported Des in Vicer Street on more than a few occassions. Des definaltly got two diamonds in the rough, that just needed a little polishing, and now both guys are sparkling. Thanks for unleasing them Des.
